Happy Halloween Vol Nation! What’s scarier; that the Vols can still blaze their own path towards Atanta with a 5-3 overall record? Or, that Vanderbilt is just a game out in the East?

The next installment of our interview series takes us to the Sun Belt. Coach Joe Pasternack is beginning his first season at the helm of the University of New Orleans. I would like to thank Coach Pasternack for taking the time to answer our questions and Rob Broussard of the UNO Media Relations for his help in coordinating the interview.

Is is time to hand out the preseason individual accolades. A couple of points about this list: 1. I didn’t, after giving the matter considerable thought, place any freshmen on the list. If I had chosen to consider them for preseason All American status, the lists would look quite different.

Florida fans thought it was a classless bush league stunt. Georgia fans were elated to finally see some emotion and intensity from their coach whom many labeled as being to nice. Fans of other teams around the conference, who hate them both, fall somewhere in between.

I understand that every generation looks fondly on their childhood. I am not one of those guys that wants to grow old and talk about how good things were when I was growing up, but feel a little loss for the neighborhood kids when I drive by an empty open field near the house.

Offensive gameplan and running the football. Once again, offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe gave up on the run too early. I’ve read his comments after several Tennessee losses in the last couple of years and on numerous occasions he’s admitted that he gave up on the run prematurely.
