Phillip Fulmer and the Tennessee Volunteer received their seventh verbal commitment for the class of 2008. Daytona Beach (FL), Mainland High School wide receiver Antonio Bell has decided to play his college football for the University of Tennessee.

The thee member faculty panel at Florida State University responsible for reviewing the appeal of Brandon Warren’s previuosly denied transfer request gave their decision on Monday. Bottom line: denied.

Vols Taken in 2007 NFL Draft

Five Tennessee players were selected on Saturday and one more on Sunday, giving the Vols a total of six players in this year’s draft. It’s the most Tennessee players drafted since 2003.

JaJuan Smith gets Noise Citation

The Tennessean, and several other sources, have reported that JaJuan Smith has been cited for violating the City of Knoxville’s noise ordinance early Sunday morning. Smith allegedly had his music turned up too loud and when asked to turn it down, he became “antagonistic”.

Philip Jurick is all Vol

Several sources are reporting that East Ridge star Phillip Jurick will commit to Tennessee on Wednesday. Jurick is scheduled to be in Knoxville for an unofficial visit tomorrow and word is that he will give his commitment to Bruce Pearl and the Vols.
