If you're interested, I produced a feature-length documentary about the building (and my 2nd home as a former member of the Penn women's basketball team). Entitled "The Palestra: Cathedral of Basketball," it traces the evolution of the game through the rise of THE most historic arena in the country - The Palestra. The documentary premiered nationally on ESPN Classic this past summer and will be premiering regionally in Philadelphia and the greater DE Valley area next Friday, Nov. 23rd @ 7pm.
