Here is the audio from Coach Fulmer’s comments during the media day Saturday morning. It’s about 20 minutes long. He breaks down the outlook of the team and his thoughts on the newcomers position by position.
A couple other comments from Fulmer that were not part of that clip:
-Jonathan Hefney will return punts. Austin Rogers could also be used as he has some experience there.
-LaMarcus Coker will be the primary kick returner but there are a group of others that could work themselves into the mix.
-There will be a special package in place on offense for someone like Eric Berry, Gerald Jones or Lucas Taylor.
-The staff will simplify the offense enough to get some young guys on the field early. The guys who can make big plays will be on the field and Coach Fulmer does expect an impact from this freshman class.
