Josh Hawkins commits to Vols

It looks as if the Vols have their 10th commitment for the 2007 recruiting class. Josh Hawkins is a 6′ 1″ 190 pound running back from Loudon. According to Scout.com he rushed for nearly 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior last season.

Damion Harris Transferring to Newberry

Tennessee basketball player Damion Harris is transferring to Division II Newberry (S.C.) according to the Knoxville News Sentinel. He was recruited by Buzz Peterson as part of the 2003 class.

Former Tennessee point guard C.J. had a strong showing last week at the Rocky Mountain Revue, an NBA summer league in Salt Lake City, Utah. Playing in all six games for the San Antonio Spurs, Watson ranked second in the six-team league with 3.8 assists while adding 6.0 points and 1.3 steals per game.
