Jeremy Hill looking around

in Tennessee Vols Football Recruiting

Jeremy-HillJeremy Hill, a 6-foot-2, 220 pound running back from Baton Rouge, LA has decided to check out a few schools for junior days and is starting with a visit to Alabama this weekend. Florida State will follow his ‘Bama visit next weekend. Hill is also working on a few other visits but hasn’t nailed anything down. He still remains committed to LSU but is still not completely sold on his decision.

“I have visits lined up for these next two weekends and I’m thinking about visiting a few others but I am working on it to iron it out. I’ll be visiting Alabama this weekend and Florida State next weekend.”

Hill was considering Tennessee seriously before an early commitment in September to the hometown LSU Tigers. However, things have changed and Hill informed VolNation.com that he’s looking to visit schools again and the Vols are a school he has interest in.

“I’m still committed to LSU right now,” Hill said. “I’m visting a few other schools to see if there is a better situation out there. I want to make the right choice not just for me, but for my family.”

Tennessee is one school that Hill has always been in contact with, even after his commitment.

“Tennessee has been on me forever it seems like. I like that. They have been sending me mail every day. Tennessee is a school that I am going to look at very hard again.”

Hill has so many offers he can’t even name them all.

“Oh man, you will need to ask my coach who all have offered me to be honest,” said Hill. “I cant remember them all and to be fair to each school I can’t say cause I know I will forget.”

Arkansas, LSU, Colorado, Alabama, Florida State, Nebrasksa, and Tennessee are all some schools who have offered. Oregon, Florida, and USC are all showing serious attention as well.

While he is still committed to LSU Hill is looking at other schools and looking at those schools to see how they fit his criteria.

“I am looking to see if a program has a great coaching staff, how the players and the staff get along, and what situation the running back spot is at in regards to depth and if there is a need for me. I also want to see a team have options at the other spots on offense because I want to play somewhere that has athletes all over.”

With some unofficial visits set Hill is looking for more and the Vols look to be a school that will get one. Stay tuned to VolNation to hear the latest.

Jeremy, the Vols are an upcoming program and I feel that they will return to their glory days next year. I don’t believe you could do any better than going with the “Big Orange” as you know we continually send our greatest players to the NFL. I know you would look fantastic in the orange and white and you’d get to play against the best in the SEC. At least, give us a strong look before you make your decision. Regardless, whatever direction you take, I wish you God’s blessings and the very best. Jerry
